Simulation verifies improved trajectory deviation in helicopters with ADRC, indicating better control strategies.
This study proposes an active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) for helicopter attitude control to address the poor performance of classical control strategies in complex systems. The corresponding ADRC algorithms for each channel input the resolved parameters of the position loop into the attitude loop. The attitude loop then regards the coupled effects in the pitch, roll, and yaw channels of the “Black Hawk” helicopter as internal disturbances of the system, performing dynamic compensation and real-time compensation. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed controller can achieve a significant reduction in average trajectory deviation compared to the conventional algorithm by considering various maneuver patterns and flight velocities.
