Control strategy improves tracking and reduces torque ripple in BLDC motors, indicating enhanced stability.
The proposed work is developed based on an ENHANCED Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) motor-based multi-control scheme for torque and suspension windings on the First Order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) system. The proposed model introduced a dual Robust, Tracking, Disturbance Rejection, and Aggressiveness (RTDA) Controller based on Kariwala and Ogunaike, which is integrated with the FOPDT system. On the other hand, the PID controller is integrated with FOPDT, where the parameters of the PID controllers are fine-tuned using a secretary bird optimization algorithm (SBOA), which reduces the torque ripple and eliminates overshoot. On the other hand, RTDA achieves robust and precise tracking for improving the control system's performance. The experimental implementation is done through Matlab/Simulink, where the performance of controllers is validated separately. Hence, the proposed multi-control scheme achieves better performance in terms of fast response time and high stability.
