This article demonstrates the impact of urban planning on sustainable economic development in Ukraine, suggesting innovative complexes for education and science.
The article reveals the results of a study in the field of a new form of revival of Ukraine’s economic potential through new urban planning concepts. The new economic strategy is seen as a combination of education, science, management, accommodation and recreation in integral regional complexes, which have all the possibilities for this by their natural potential. The advantages of such economic structures over the existing fragmented sectoral network, which today is unable to compete with foreign systems, are revealed.A new form of economic unit is proposed - an educational and scientific complex for a particular region based on resource, social, and strategic conditions for sustainable development. The publication highlights a significant pre-project analysis of world models of similar complexes, which are mostly represented by technology parks in large cities with sufficient scientific, educational and production potential. This concept does not require cooperation with third-party elements, but is an independent, fully functional complex built on natural resource capabilities and cultural and historical specifics. According to the concept, the complex is selfsufficient from the very first days with minimal investment and will be completely self-sufficient in the future with sustainable principles of coexistence. The architecture is a continuation of the natural rules of harmony and environmental compliance. The main factors of the concept highlighted in the work are the educational system, scientific activity, ecology, engineering, and human centricity in the field of economic development of Ukraine.
