Study demonstrates the reduction of electrical energy consumption in households, highlighting optimization strategies.
As people are always willing to have a better and comforts quality of life, there is a continuous demand of optimizing various energy resources like mechanical energy, thermal energy, electrical energy and so on. At the same time it is also necessary to optimize the usage ofthese energy resources as they are limited and having impact on the environmental imbalance. In the present paper, the concentration is mainly focused in optimizing (reducing) electrical energy (power consumption) used in a day to day life (in home) as it ultimatelyresults in optimizing the cost. Of course optimizing electrical energy is a major challenge because of mainly wastage of power, but one way it can be achieved by controlling various household appliances and their usage. With this motivation, an attempt has been made tooptimize electrical power consumption in a day to day life by usingdifferent mathematical techniques.
