Elemente lexicale mai puțin sau deloc cunoscute într-o traducere inedită a mitropolitului Dosoftei

LEXICAL ELEMENTS LESS OR NOT KNOWN SO FAR INSIDE OF AN UNPUBLISHED TRANSLATION OF METROPOLITAN DOSOFTEI Abstract This article proposes an inventory and a brief lexical analysis of 20 words excerpted from a small apologetic treatise translated by Dosoftei, Metropolitan of Moldova, and unpublished so far. Most of the terms are not recorded in dictionaries and do not appear in other lexicographic works regarding the writings of the Moldavian hierarch. The lexical inventory proposed in this study highlights the original manner in which Dosoftei adapted the lexicon already existing in the language to the philosophical-theological and socio-cultural realities encountered in the source texts of his translations. Words such as desămănare, nepremenit, nesuflat, stimi, not recorded in dictionaries, enrich and nuance the theological vocabulary of that time, as well as the term propoziție, used with a not attested meaning in dictionaries, that of „prepoziție”.
