Analysis of Generative AI-Based Fantasy Makeup Ideation Classes - Focusing on the Art Nouveau shaping elements -

This study aimed to develop a fantasy makeup ideation class model by integrating Art Nouveau elements through the use of generative AI (Firefly), and to explore its potential for fostering creative thinking and visual expression. Design ideas were generated using Firefly, incorporating the stylistic features and expressive qualities of the Art Nouveau movement. The study employed a four-stage thematic analysis and conducted in-depth focus group interviews (FGI) with experts. Findings indicate that the proposed class model effectively enhances self-directed learning and promotes practical, creative design ideation. The fusion of Art Nouveau's flowing aesthetics and natural motifs with AI-generated imagery notably enriched both the artistic and functional dimensions of fantasy makeup. This instructional approach shows strong potential for application in both beauty education and industry contexts. Future research is recommended to compare various AI tools and to develop additional pedagogical models for broader implementation within the beauty sector.
