Investigation demonstrates the effect of time-delayed feedback on current reversal in particles, indicating enhanced mobility.
We investigate the dynamic behavior of underdamped Brownian particles in an asymmetric deformable potential modulated by time-delayed feedback. Our findings reveal that the incorporation of time-delay feedback can induce current reversal, allowing particles to move counter to the direction of the applied bias. Notably, this time-delayed feedback mechanism significantly amplifies absolute negative mobility, potentially inducing the emergence of giant negative mobility. Within specific regimes of deformable parameter, the system displays absolute negative mobility. Additionally, adjusting the deformable parameter enables continuous regulation of the current between positive and negative extremes, including complete suppression of directional transport in the asymmetric deformable potential.
