In the present paper, an attempt is made to capture the views of Corfu Primary Education teachers on the subject of Authentic Assessment and Authentic Learning. A sample of 74 teachers, out of a total of about a thousand teachers who work on the island of Corfu was surveyed on whether it is possible to teach and learn in an Authentic Learning Environment, whether they apply Authentic Assessment in the classroom, which techniques and means of capture they use. The survey was conducted through questionnaires and closed-ended questions. The conclusions that emerged tend to show a positive attitude of teachers towards the authentic evaluation of students, while it is very important to conclude that the result of the evaluation process influences the planning of activities for the benefit of students.
