Statistical analysis reports the prevalence of acute respiratory and intestinal infections in cattle, suggesting a notable epizootic trend.
The paper provides statistical information on parainfluenza-3 (PG-3), infectious rhinotracheitis (IRT), viral diarrhea (VD), colibacteriosis, salmonellosis and pasteurellosis for 2021-2024. Pathological material in the form of pieces of internal parenchymal organs, semen, flushes from the external genitalia, and aborted fetuses were studied by the rapid polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method. For the retrospective diagnosis, paired blood sera were used: for PG-3 in RTGA, for IRT and VD – in RNGA. The largest number of positive cases of PG-3 was registered in 2022 – 15 (40.0 %), IRT in 2024 – 1 (9.1 %), VD in 2021 – 45 (37.2 %), colibacteriosis and salmonellosis were detected in 2023 – 11 (28.9 %) and 36 (8.2%), pasteurellosis in 2024 – 2 (11.8 %).
