This analysis uncovers misconceptions about service councils' operation in secondary education, highlighting key perspectives from participants.
The following research was prepared in the framework of the Distance Learning Program in Leadership and Management in Education of EKDDA (7/9/2018-22/12/2018). The mode of operation of the service councils is the subject of discussions among teachers. Misconceptions about their operation have often developed. The first part of the research records the legislation concerning the service councils, as well as analyzes their composition, composition and operation. The analysis is based on the existing legal framework and the case law of the courts. In the second part, through a questionnaire, in which 20 elected members of service councils of all types participated voluntarily (PYSDE, APYSDE, representatives of KYSDE did not send answers) and valuable conclusions are drawn from different factions. The views of the people involved in the councils are valuable and contribute to the research and empirical dimension.
