Abstract

In the present presentation, through a case study, the views of the teachers of Primary Education of the Prefecture of Pieria regarding the phenomenon of cooperation of teachers within the school unit in relation to the school environment in which the social phenomenon of cooperation occurs. The research was conducted from the beginning of October 2016 until the end of June 2017. In the research, 31 Primary schools were selected from the 61 Primary schools of Primary Education of the Prefecture of Pieria. The interviews were conducted in 31 of the 61 Primary Schools of DIPE PIERIA (Directorate of Primary Education of Pieria). The purpose of the research was to capture the views of teachers regarding the supporting and inhibiting factors that affect their cooperation at the level of the specifics of the school, teachers and the school as an organization governed by the legal framework: the circulars as well as and the Ministerial decisions of the Ministry of Education.
