This study examines various forms of speech aggression in media texts, identifies their features and mechanisms of impact on the audience. Using the example of modern Internet media, it is studied how verbal aggression is used as a tool of manipulation and control, as well as how it affects people’s emotional state and behavior. The article analyzes the vocabulary that creates a conflictual communicative environment, imposes negative assessments and forms a certain public opinion. The study of speech aggression in virtual mass media is one of the most pressing issues at the moment, since the problems of this phenomenon are of interest not only from the standpoint of journalistic ethics and language theory, but also information security. Reducing the level of verbal aggression in media texts can contribute to the normalization of conflict communication strategies in society and the humanization of the media sphere.
