This study aims to formulate a business strategy to improve the performance of PT XYZ, encompassing financial aspects, operational management, market development, and organizational learning. The focus of the research is to identify the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, in order to develop alternative strategies that support company growth and performance improvement. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques consisting of in-depth interviews and document analysis. The strategic formulation process follows Fred R. David's framework, consisting of three stages: Input (through Internal Factor Evaluation, External Factor Evaluation analysis, and Competitive Profile Matrix), Matching (through IE Matrix, and SWOT Matrix), and Decision (through Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Data analysis will be carried out through systematic stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. As this study is still at the analytical framework development and data collection stages, no empirical findings are yet presented. Nevertheless, it is expected that the research will produce applicable strategic alternatives to drive the improvement of PT XYZ’s performance amid the dynamics of the construction industry.
