The article discusses the integration of sustainability in automotive design, particularly in the field of CMF Design (Color, Material, and Finish), focusing on the application of sustainable materials. The study aims to identify trends and sustainable practices within this field to improve vehicle functionality and personalization. The adopted methodology was qualitative, with an exploratory approach supported by bibliographic research, involving analysis of specialized works and industry data. The results reveal that the use of recycled materials, such as natural fibers and recycled plastics, has significantly grown in the automotive industry. Additionally, the article emphasizes the need for a systemic view of sustainability, considering the entire lifecycle of products, and how CMF Design can contribute to the creation of more sustainable products, aligning aesthetic innovation with environmental responsibility.
