Historical investigation on the urban construction led by CPC in the early days of the founding of People’s Republic of China

The article conducts a study on the historical facts of the Communist Party of China leading urban construction in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China by comprehensively applying the analytical ang comparative research methods. The authors holds that the Communist Party of China, adhering to the guidance of Marxism and based on the fundamental transformation of “social character - principal contradiction - main task”, established the fundamental direction, central task and core key of urban construction in China, and based on the innovative understanding of “target theme - path guideline - mainstream essence”, the party clarified the mission, tasks, basic guidelines and specific requirements of urban construction in China.
