Research reveals improved conductivity and transparency in composite films using cellulose nanocrystals, indicating potential for flexible electronics.
Novel flexible substrate materials that combine flexibility, transparency, and conductivity are essential components of flexible electronic devices. In this study, PS‐PBA/CNC/PEDOT:PSS flexible composite films were prepared via polymerization in a Pickering emulsion system stabilized by cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), using styrene (St) and butyl acrylate (BA) as monomers. The results demonstrated that the composite films exhibited excellent light transmittance, thermal stability, hydrophobicity, and mechanical properties at an oil‐to‐water mass ratio of 3:7. This study provides a valuable reference for the development of new flexible substrate materials for solar cells.
