When we took over as the editors of BCJ in the fall of 2024, we faced a whirlwind of work and immediately started helping the previous editors finish an issue that was already in production. We then worked with the special issue guest editors, Drs. Hudson and Vogel, to close the loop on the DEI special issues and, as you have seen, those two issues were recently published. We are now very excited to introduce you to the first regular issue from BCJ (Volume 32, Issue 2), which was due solely to our own efforts as editors. This issue contains the first set of cases that we handled from initial submission all the way to production. The work of being an editor can be quite challenging and we feel that, with this issue, we are now hitting our stride with the editorial processes of BCJ and we thank the organization for their continued support of this journal.
