An optimization method demonstrates improved reactive power stability in photovoltaic systems, suggesting effective energy savings.
The output of photovoltaic power sources is affected by fluctuations in light intensity, and has randomness and intermittency. The reactive power connected to the distribution network fluctuates greatly, with both continuous and discrete variables. The response speed of reactive power energy-saving schemes is low, and the loss situation is unstable. Therefore, a reactive power energy-saving optimization method for photovoltaic power generation connected to the distribution network based on the EHO algorithm is proposed. The operational characteristics of photovoltaic power generation connected to the distribution network is analyzed. The reactive load of photovoltaic power generation connected to the distribution network based on real-time data of the power grid for continuous and discrete variables is predicted. Based on the load forecasting results, a reactive power energy-saving optimization control model and constraint conditions for photovoltaic power generation connected to the distribution network are constructed. The EHO algorithm to find the optimal reactive power energy-saving solution is applied. The experimental results show that this method can respond more quickly to reactive power fluctuations and restore reactive power to a stable lower level, improving the load current loss situation and making voltage fluctuations more stable.
