Genome analysis reveals Rhodococcus globerulus AX7B utilizes abscisic acid, indicating potential for bioremediation.
We report the genome sequence of Rhodococcus globerulus strain AX7B, isolated from the pea rhizosphere and capable of utilizing abscisic acid as a sole carbon source. The complete genome consists of a 6.62 Mb chromosome and a 0.44 Mb plasmid, containing 6,344 protein-coding genes and 70 RNA genes.
