This system demonstrates high spectral purity and polarization entanglement, suggesting new avenues for quantum networking applications.
We propose a CMOS-compatible photon-pair source based on SiN offering simultaneous high spectral-purity ( ≥ 99.9%) and polarization-entanglement (concurrence upto 0.99), with the signal photon at 794-nm for addressing Tm-based quantum memory and the idler at ∼ 1283-nm (telecom O-band).
