Taxonomic review updates bryocorini species in Japan, highlighting new monalocoris and bryocorinae descriptions.
Japanese fauna of the plant bug tribe Bryocorini is updated, with descriptions of three new species, Bryocoris ezomonticola new species, Cobalorrhynchus nihonicus new species, and Monalocoris siranui new species. In addition, the male of Monalocoris amamianus Yasunaga is described for the first time, and Monalocoris tsaiorum new species (from Nantou, Taiwan) and Michailocoris haregi new species (Bryocorinae: Eccritotarsini) are also described. A key is provided to facilitate identification of Japanese bryocorine taxa.
