Quantitative analysis reveals Return on Assets notably influences stock prices in IDX transportation companies, hinting at investor priorities.
This study analyzes the influence of fundamental ratios on the stock prices of transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. The ratios studied include the Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Receivable Turnover (RTO), Asset Turnover (ATO), and Price Earnings Ratio (PER). This study uses a quantitative approach with a saturated sample technique (census) covering 12 companies in the transportation and logistic sector for 5 years, resulting in 60 observations. Data were obtained from annual financial reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that only Return on Assets (ROA) has a significant effect on stock prices, while Current Ratio (CR), Receivable Turnover (RTO), Asset Turnover (ATO), and Price Earnings Ratio (PER) have no significant effect. This finding indicates that profitability, measured by Return on Assets (ROA), is a key factor considered by investors in assessing the stock prices of transportation and logistics companies on the IDX. This study contributes to investors in making investment decisions based on fundamental analysis.
