Descriptive research examines psychological well-being and learning approaches affecting college life adaptation in nursing students, highlighting significant correlations.
Objectives This study is a descriptive research study to understand the factors that affect college life adaptation of nursing students' psychological well-being, learning approach, and stress coping Methods A study was conducted with 142 nursing students. The data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0, employing frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise regression analysis. Results The mean score for psychological well-being was 3.89, deep learning approach 3.38, Surface Approaches 3.28, and stress coping 2.91, college life adaptation 3.45. Psychological well-being, deep learning approach, stress coping, college life adaptation had significant correlations. The factors influencing college life adaptation were explanatory power at 53.7% due to stress coping methods, deep learning approaches, psychological well-being, MBTI variables, allowance. Conclusions Based on this study, In order to improve nursing students' adaptation to college life, it is necessary to train them to respond flexibly to stressful situations and environmental changes, to take the initiative and respond appropriately, and to operate classes that allow for an in-depth learning approach.
