This report identifies a rare eyelid disease featuring juvenile xanthogranuloma that impacts vision.
To report an uncommon case of adult eyelid disease with juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG). A 42-year-old woman reported that she had been experiencing gradual, progressive enlargement of her upper and lower eyelids for the past 8 years. Over time, the lesion grew larger and blocked the inferior visual field. A lower eyelid biopsy showed spindle cell xanthogranuloma, according to histopathological analysis. The patient’s appearance improved after undergoing the debulking. This is a rare case of bilateral eyelid lesion in an adult with histological features of JXG.
