Observational analysis reveals customizable intensity distribution in electromagnetic beams, suggesting advanced laser processing applications.
We propose what we believe to be a novel class of electromagnetic sources featuring multi-sinc Schell-model correlation functions, establishing comprehensive realizability criteria for their characteristic parameters. Through a synergistic combination of weighted superposition methodology and numerical propagation simulations, we systematically investigate the evolution of statistical properties exhibited by these electromagnetic random beams during free-space propagation. The results reveal unique self-adaptive intensity distribution characteristics, demonstrating the capability to generate customizable single or dual-layer annular structures with tunable ring multiplicity in the far-field regime. This distinctive beam-shaping property, particularly the controllable generation of multi-ring intensity patterns, positions these innovative sources as promising candidates for advanced laser material processing applications requiring precision beam profile engineering.
