ANOVA analysis found no significant difference in average rainfall across regencies in Yogyakarta, suggesting stability in precipitation patterns.
The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in average rainfall between regencies and cities in Yogyakarta Province in 2022. ANOVA is a statistical method used to determine whether there is a significant difference between the averages of more than two data sets. The study area consists of five regencies/cities: Kulonprogo, Bantul, Gunungkidul, Sleman, and Yogyakarta. To determine whether there is variation in average rainfall in each region, rainfall data was taken from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS). Based on the SPSS output above, the Sig. value is 0.978 > 0.05 and F value = 0.112 < F table = 2.54, so Ho is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no difference in average rainfall between Kulon Progo Regency, Bantul Regency, Gunungkidul Regency, Sleman Regency, and Yogyakarta City in 2022.
