Pencak silat, as a traditional Indonesian martial art, consists of two main aspects: 'pencak' which emphasizes basic rule-based techniques, and 'silat' which is oriented towards practical applications. The development of pencak silat competition regulations continues to change, one of which is at the 2012 MUNAS IPSI which was considered stricter than the current rules. This difference raises questions about its impact on athlete strategy, safety, or consistency of assessment, so it needs to be studied in more depth. The 2024 pencak silat championship is a strategic moment to evaluate the effectiveness of this technique in improving athlete performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the most efficient type of fall and the quantity of falls achieved by each male athlete in class C in each round of the match. At the regional level match at the Pesantenan Pati GOR in 2024. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative type and descriptive design. Data were analyzed descriptively to measure the level of success of the branch fall technique. The results of statistical data calculations include the types of falls in pencak silat in class C men, namely sweeping (0.00%), catching (14.56%), clipping (0.68%), pulling (39.14%), levering (1.37%) while counter falls (44.24%) from the top 8 matches to the final. So it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the type of fall in the match is the counter fall.
