Curriculum development achieved successful EV system planning and design in students, highlighting industry standards.
This study focuses on how the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines' (USTP CDO) Autotronics curriculum incorporates electric vehicle (EV) system planning and design. Technical education that is in line with industry standards is now essential due to the global shift towards sustainable transportation. The study developed an educational module with AutoCAD-based designs and EV concepts using the ADDIE model as a framework. Expert evaluation and real student outputs served as validation for the module [1]. The findings showed that students successfully learned how to plan, design, and visualize EV systems, including how to integrate safety components. In EV education, this study offers a reproducible framework for instruction that connects theory and practice [2].
