<ns3:p>The article presents a proposal for the calculation of column bases with stiffeners, taking into account the assumptions made in the Eurocodes. The procedure is based on the compatibility of the displacements of the characteristic points of the column base and the foundation. In the compression zone, the plastic distribution of stresses in concrete and the accompanying limit strains were assumed in accordance with Eurocode 2, while in the tension zone the deformations of the column base were taken into account based on the stiffness coefficients given in Eurocode 3. A calculation example is presented and the results are compared with the IdeStatica program based on the component method and FEM analysis</ns3:p>
