As the behavioral health crisis deepens across the country, Ohio is taking bold steps to address a critical shortage in its mental health workforce. With more than 2.4 million residents currently lacking access to care, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS), in partnership with the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE), has launched a statewide recruitment campaign.
