Observational analysis reveals that public key cryptography improves data integrity in e-commerce and maritime logistics, suggesting enhanced cybersecurity measures.
The Digital Transformation of e-commerce and maritime logistics has enhanced operational efficiency; however, it has also increased susceptibility to cyber threats, data breaches, and identity theft. In these industries with high sensitivity data such as cargo manifests, shipping schedules, financial transactions, and customer records, content guarantees has become globally imperative. Political Key Cryptography (PKC) creates an effective solution through the means of asymmetrical encryption since effective communication, data integrity, and user identity verification relies on these constructions. This paper focuses on the applications of PKC towards better content guarantee in maritime as well as e-commerce environments. It examines the protective role of digital signatures, certificate authorities, and key management systems upon data exchange on distributed systems. Also, it suggests a model that utilizes PKC with blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) devices for enhanced transparency, trust, and automation for supply chain processes. The research through case studies and best practices reveals the advantages and complexities of applying PKC in real-life scenarios. Ultimately, the research concludes that the incorporation of PKC not only enhances cybersecurity but arguably strengthens the resilience, compliance to regulations, and operational trust within international digital trading networks.
