Analysis reveals that quenching tank size and water temperature impact cooling uniformity in strip steel.
The numerical calculation of the quenching process of strip steel was carried out using the finite element method, and the influence of factors such as quenching tank size and water temperature on the uniformity of cooling in the width direction of the strip steel was analyzed. The results indicate that as the size of the quenching tank increases, the temperature at each point of the strip steel shows a decreasing trend, but the change becomes less significant. As the water temperature increases, the temperature at each point of the strip steel becomes higher, and the temperature difference along the width direction of the strip steel becomes smaller, and the variance decreases. By adjusting the size and water temperature of the quenching tank, the temperature field can be effectively controlled. The research conclusion can provide a reference for the application of water quenching technology in industrial production.
