Methodology explores structure changes in RS-300 alloy after isothermal deformation and heat treatment, suggesting improvements for SLM blanks.
A methodology for studying of the RS-300 aluminum alloy structure after isothermal deformation with lubricants and subsequent heat treatment is developed. The initial blanks made of the RS-300 alloy are obtained by selective laser melting (SLM). The evolution of the structure formed by 3D printing, isothermal deformation and heat treatment is shown. The obtained results can be applied in the development of the operation of hot isothermal calibration of blanks manufactured by the SLM method.
