Comparative analysis reveals the sensitivity of various biofilms to antibacterial drugs, indicating potential treatment challenges.
The results of a comparative assessment of methods for indicating monospecies and polyspecies biofilms of various taxonomic groups of microorganisms under the influence of antibacterial drugs are presented. The results of studies of the sensitivity to antibacterial drugs of isolates isolated from food raw materials and washes of technological equipment were analyzed. Express methods of indication and differentiation of pathogenic microorganisms isolated during microbiological monitoring of meat and dairy industry enterprises have been tested and selected. Immobilization of the architectonics of the three-dimensional structure of biofilms in the representation of signaling molecules is mediated by the degree of differentiation of the cell wall of microorganisms, respectively, by the chemical composition of the intercellular matrix. With a decrease in the frequency of clusters and the optical density of biofilms, resistance to E. coli and P. aeruginosa isolates is observed – carbapenems; S.aureus – methicillin; B.cereus – chloramphenicol. Direct correlative relationship (r=0,87) was established between morphometric and densitometric indicators mediated by the synthesis of the intercellular matrix, dissociation, L-transformation, and the dominance of dormant uncultivated cells.
