Survey finds coaching leadership enhances job satisfaction in instructors, indicating a boost in organizational effectiveness.
This study investigated the impact of academy directors’ coaching leadership on organizational effectiveness in private educational institutions, with a focus on the mediating roles of job satisfaction and affective organizational commitment. A total of 234 academy instructors across the country participated in an online survey, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and PROCESS Macro (Model 4). The results indicated that coaching leadership had a significant positive effect on both job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness, with job satisfaction fully mediating this relationship. Although affective organizational commitment positively influenced organizational effectiveness, it did not show a significant mediating effect between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of coaching leadership in enhancing organizational performance by promoting psychological satisfaction among instructors. The study offers practical implications for leadership development and HR strategies in the private education sector.
