To explore how to promote the better development of China's youth basketball leagues and professional leagues, this paper adopts methods such as literature review and mathematical statistics to conduct an in-depth understanding of the development status and existing problems of China's professional basketball leagues and youth basketball leagues. Through analysis, it is found that China's professional basketball leagues have problems such as insufficient market vitality, a large gap in competitive strength, weak awareness of internal cultural construction, a small base of reserve talents, and imperfect echelon construction. The development of youth basketball is in full swing, with a certain scale of participating population and a number of young stars emerging. However, during its development, there are problems such as weak teaching staff, lack of social support, and imperfect league organization. The professional leagues have many senior coaches with rich teaching and training experience, and the players in the youth basketball leagues are potential talents for future professional leagues. There is a relationship of common development and shared destiny between the two. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the integration of the two events to broaden the talent reserve channels, enhance the influence of the two events, integrate resources, and expand the market, so as to provide a reference for the development of China's basketball in the new era.
