This work presents a novel framework for stochastic processes, highlighting significant insights for hybrid systems and approximation techniques.
This paper examines recent advances in developing unified frameworks that bridge the theoretical gap between discrete and continuous stochastic processes. We review existing approaches to unification, including measure-theoretic foundations, generators and semigroups, and path-space formulations. We propose a novel framework based on generalized operators that allows for seamless transitions between discrete and continuous domains while preserving key structural properties. Our approach addresses long-standing challenges in analyzing hybrid systems and provides new insights into approximation techniques. Case studies in financial modeling, quantum probability, and statistical physics demonstrate the practical utility of the unified framework. The paper concludes with open problems and research directions for further development
