CCTA rules out significant in-stent restenosis in patients post-PCI, implying a safer alternative to ICA.
Background Invasive coronary angiography (ICA) is the gold standard in evaluating stent patency after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), but it carries a risk of potentially life-threatening complications. Third-generation coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) offers a non-invasive, safer follow-up method, but real-world data are lacking. This study evaluated the ability of CCTA to rule out in-stent restenosis (ISR) in long stents at long-term follow-up.
