Study develops a theory of translation transfer of socio-coordinates, highlighting transformational trends in Russian-French contexts.
The purpose of the study is to develop a theory of translation transfer of socio-coordinates as textual cognitive attractors in the informative code of linguosociomodels. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the following: the development of theoretical and methodological framework of modern translation studies with the author’s theory of translation transfer of socio-coordinates, forming of an author’s algorithm for interpreting the translation transfer of socio-coordinates in a textual informative code, creating of a socio-coordinates typology, clarifying of socio-culturemes types, constructing of a scale of translation solutions frequency in the aspect of Russian-French transfer of socio-coordinates, and identifying of the vectors of translation transfer of socio-coordinates. In the result the theory of translation transfer of socio-coordinates is presented for the first time, and its application to the material of M. Gorky’s “My apprenticeship” has determined the specific features of the transfer of socio-coordinates functioning in the projection of the Russian-French translation language pair in accordance with the translation studies vector, which has determined the prevalence of the transformational transfer of socio-coordinates and the presence of the fact of their partial missing. The development and implementation of the author’s algorithm for interpreting of the translation transfer of socio-coordinates in the textual informative code have revealed the transformational tendencies in the transfer of the parameters of linguosociocultural models to the perception of foreign-language readers.
