Research shows the necessity of enhancing professional competence of mathematics teachers using artificial intelligence, highlighting developments in didactic materials.
The aim of the research is to develop a technology for future mathematics teachers training focused on using neural networks to create didactic materials for the subject. The article presents the main directions of application of artificial intelligence in the learning process, including in mathematics. The work substantiates the need to improve the professional competence of a mathematics teacher for the successful integration of neural networks into the educational process, including at the stage of training in a pedagogical university. The possibilities of neural networks for the development of didactic materials in mathematics aimed at improving the learning process are presented. The developed technology for teaching future mathematics teachers to use neural networks in professional activities is described. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the following: a technology is proposed for teaching pedagogical university students to develop didactic materials in mathematics using the capabilities of neural networks (generation of texts, images, presentations, videos, solving mathematical problems), including four stages (theoretical, practical, methodological, applied), which are sequentially mastered by students in the disciplines of the subject-methodological module. As a result of the research, the necessity of preparing future mathematics teachers for the use of artificial intelligence in professional activities is substantiated. The types of didactic materials in mathematics are determined, in the development of which the main capabilities of modern neural networks are applied. The technology for preparing future mathematics teachers for the use of neural networks for the development of didactic materials is described.
