The current research aims to identify the impact of teaching through this methodology in the achievement of the fourth secondary students and the development of their scientific thinking, and to achieve the purpose of the research has been adopted a experimental design with relative control, which is a design for two tests (tested and controlled) for two tests before and after treatment. Then identify the study community, which was represented in middle schools within the Directorate of Education in Salah al -Din - Department of Science, and the research sample included (67) students from the preparatory stage, which was the students of the Sheikh Muhammad Al -Youssef High School for Boys and in a intentional manner, and then the sample was divided into two groups, one of which is experimental and the other is controlled. The number of the test group was (34) students, studied according to the method of cooperative learning, and the fixed group included (33) students, and the parity between the groups was conducted in some specific variables such as the previous achievement, age, level of intelligence, and academic achievement of the parents) and the researcher believes that it can affect the determinants that depend on independent variables. The results of the research showed the superiority of the experimental group students who studied the participatory learning method on the students of the comparative group who studied in the usual way in the achievement variable and in the development of scientific thinking. The research concluded a number of conclusions, including, Cooperative learning effectiveness in academic achievement and developing scientific survey skills. Teaching contributes to the cooperative learning strategy in enhancing the positive role of the teacher and provides the shadows with a greater opportunity for interaction and collective participation. In completion of the current research, some proposals were set up. Cooperative learning as one of the educational methods affecting the teaching of Islamic education. Including the necessity of adopting cooperative learning strategies as one of the effective methods in teaching philosophy and science of setting up training programs and workshops for Islamic education teachers to enhance their skills in planning lessons according to cooperative learning strategy, Conducting a study to find out the effect of the method of learning based on the problem on other types of variables, including (critical thinking, creative thinking 0).
