This study examines the concept of "the state" in Nahj al-Balagha, focusing on Imam Ali's sermons and letters. The state is not just a traditional political entity but a value system based on justice, equality, and human dignity. Imam Ali's project to rebuild the state emerged after the state's disintegration due to economic, social, and tribal transformations. The concept of "government" is linked to Imam Ali's philosophical and ethical structure, requiring rulers to adhere to principles of justice, transparency, and mercy. The research aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Nahj al-Balagha texts and its potential for contemporary political theories.
