Mixed methods reveal that immersive VR boosts legal literacy and engagement, indicating improved civic education.
This study investigates the potential of immersive virtual environments and 3D character-based storytelling to improve citizens’ understanding of complex judicial processes. By integrating gamified VR scenarios and simplified narratives, the research evaluates whether these digital tools can enhance comprehension, engagement, and trust in the justice system. The study employs mixed methods, including pre- and post-tests, user experience surveys, and observational analysis, to assess effectiveness. Results indicate that immersive VR interventions significantly improve participants’ legal literacy and confidence when navigating judicial procedures. The findings suggest that integrating immersive technologies into public legal education can bridge gaps in accessibility and understanding, ultimately fostering greater civic participation and institutional trust.
