El modelo educativo de la UAM Xochimilco en la formación de educomunicadores, 50 años después

This essay reviews the construction process of the Modelo Xochimilco in order to better understand the key concepts of its educational system. It also explains the current socio-technical context in which education and higher educational systems stand, forecasting the alignment of educational practices towards the implementation of digital literacy programs. Finally, for the case of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco (UAM-X), it concludes with a proposal to design, develop, and operate a module, otherwise, an academic program around the educational and communicational problem of training digital citizens in hypermodern times. The intention is to demonstrate that the Modular System of UAM-X continue to be valid 50 years after.
