Comparative analysis of various types of enclosing structures` effectiveness on multi-storey reinforced concrete frame buildings for conditions of Central Asia
Key Points
The analysis finds that the proposed frame-sheathing wall structures outperform traditional materials.
External and internal wall types were assessed against temperature and seismic challenges in Central Asia.
The study utilized a comparative analysis to evaluate various building materials and structures.
Results indicate significant differences in effectiveness among wall types, highlighting important considerations for design.
Abstract
The effectiveness of external and internal walls of modern multi-storey frame buildings made from traditional brick materials, small cellular aerated concrete blocks, as well as the proposed new frame-sheathing wall structures (FSW) in the temperature, climatic and seismic conditions of Central Asia is considered.
