Comparative analysis shows transformational leadership significantly enhances organizational performance, indicating the need for focus on organizational learning.
In the study, the impact of two comparative leadership styles, transformational and servant leadership, on the organizational performance of schools is examined. The research was conducted on a sample of 128 school principals in the Republic of Serbia. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, while the AMOS model was used for statistical analysis of structural equation modelling. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a greater impact on the organizational performance of schools and that this impact is achieved through organizational learning, compared to servant leadership. At the same time, it was found that organizational learning improves the organizational performance of schools. The findings of the study imply that efforts should be made to encourage transformational leadership among school principals and promote organizational learning.
