Automation improves high-altitude curtain wall cleaning safety and efficiency, suggesting innovative design solutions.
To address the high risks and low efficiency associated with the manual cleaning of high-altitude curtain walls, an unmanned aerial vehicle for automatic high-altitude curtain wall cleaning is proposed. This unmanned aerial vehicle aims to reduce the risks of high-altitude operations and enhance cleaning efficiency. Through demand analysis, the main functions of the unmanned aerial vehicle have been clarified. The frame, flight control system, power system, automatic mixing device, automatic spraying device, and camera were innovatively designed and modeled in 3D using CATIA V5 software. Prototypes were manufactured and tested through 3D printing to achieve a thorough mixing of cleaning fluid and multi-angle spraying. The study indicates that the design scheme is innovative and feasible, and it holds significant guiding implications for the development of future high-altitude curtain wall cleaning equipment.
