Comparative analysis evaluates elevation accuracy in geodetic networks using GNSS and classic methods, highlighting implications for reliability and cost.
The paper addresses issues related to the use of products provided by GNSS infrastructure networks for the determination of the elevation position of points in geodetic networks. Geodetic measurements have been performed on a real object of road infrastructure in different setups by GNSS and classic methods. Based on the results obtained, a comparative analysis is made, with the ultimate goal to propose a methodology using a suitable infrastructure product, achieving qualitative results in terms of accuracy, reliability and cost.
