Distributed observer-based control optimizes leader-follower consensus in multi-agent systems, indicating robustness against external disturbances.
The focus of this paper is on a distributed observer‐based leader‐follower consensus robust control against external disturbances for linear parameter varying (LPV) multi‐agent systems (MASs). Lyapunov stability analysis is utilized to simultaneously guarantee the existence of both a robust consensus controller and an observer. The conditions for designing the observer and controller are derived using a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), incorporating Polya's theorem to address permutations in the polytopic representation of the LPV multi‐agent system. Robustness to external disturbances is further addressed using the criterion, optimizing system performance to mitigate the impact of disturbances on the controller design. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, demonstrating its capability to minimize the impact of disturbances.
