This analysis reviews influences on interest in Hajj savings among millennials and Generation Z, highlighting digital marketing's role.
This study explores the factors affecting Millennials and Generation Z's interest in opening Hajj savings accounts in Indonesia. It analyzes six variables—three internal (Islamic financial literacy, financial planning, Islamic lifestyle) and three external (digital marketing, mobile banking ease and security)—using data from 290 respondents. All variables significantly influence interest, explaining 88.8% of the variance. Some indicators show weaker validity, such as trust in Islamic finance and simplicity in lifestyle. The study emphasizes the need to improve Islamic financial literacy and digital outreach. It also notes limitations like online survey bias and suggests future research with broader methods and samples.
